Our story
A tool created to solve a real problem: organizing money without relying on complicated spreadsheets.
Fluca started in 2013 as a practical solution for its creator’s own finances.
While studying Computer Science, he managed his money in an Excel spreadsheet. It helped, but every update took time and the reports were limited. He built the first local version of Fluca to make recording income, expenses, and cash flow simpler.
A coworker saw the system and wanted to use it too. That moment turned a personal tool into an online service with user accounts.
Over the years, Fluca gained reports, categories, recurring bills, dark mode, transaction imports, mobile apps, and planning tools.
The purpose remains the same: help people understand their money without turning financial organization into a complicated task.
An Excel spreadsheet became a local system built by a Computer Science student.
After a coworker showed interest, Fluca added user accounts and became available online.
Fluca continues to evolve with tools for transactions, recurring bills, categories, reports, and financial planning.
